Episode 26 of the Death by Discography podcast!
The week is off to a good start, with a discussion of Neil Young’s balls. We investigate Welsh translations on the third Zeppelin record, and are a bit underwhelmed by In Rock, despite repeat listens.
For some reason Ned gets badly sidetracked talking about how much he likes the theme song from the 2008 Speed Racer movie. Pretty embarassing for him. This is followed by a lengthy conversation about the alleged hollywood accounting in Spinal Tap.
Both of us become furious about excessive use of a certain Van Morrison song, and we pull out a couple of cheeky would you rathers to avoid talking about the Grateful Dead. We may have gotten a bit off track in this one.
Albums this week
- After the Goldrush by Neil Young
- Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
- In Rock by Deep Purple
- Moondance by Van Morrison
- American Beauty by The Grateful Dead
