Death by Discography podcast – episode 21

Episode 20 of the Death by Discography podcast.

This episode contains a surprising amount of conversation about Frasier, which may or may not tell you how we felt about the albums this week. Local references abound, with some serious smack talked about Adelaide Metro, and Bakers Delight getting a free shoutout. There are serious doubts about wikipedia facts, difficulties identifying folk influences, and a voice that ‘isn’t quite as bad as Pentangle. High praise indeed. There is also a brief discussion of how Mel Brooks movies hold up. Not to be missed.

Albums this week: Happy Sad by Tim Buckley, Chicago Transit Authority by Chicago, Unhalfbricking by Fairport Convention, Elephant Mountain by The Youngbloods and Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes.
